TGIF

DAY 12

Aaarrrggh! Today was a little frustrating. We received a call from our translator at 9:00am informing us that we would not be able to visit Sean today because the orphanage was closed due to the President being in town. So as you can imagine, we were very disappointed. Olga called back and said that the driver would be by in 5 minutes to pick us up so that we can get some documents notarized. After we got them notarized we walked to the shopping mall because our driver left to do some things for our paperwork.

When we were finished shopping we walked to a restaurant called Johnny Walker. It was really good, and the atmosphere was really nice. We were talking about missing Sean, and wondered if we could maybe go see him for the afternoon visit. Olga called our coordinator and she said to go ahead and try. So we walked over the Baby House as fast as we could. Sure enough we could go in. We found out that Mary Ann was there for both visits. We decided that the driver just did not want to be bothered by all of the blocked roads. If they would have just been honest we would have taken a taxi, walked or crawled there. We don’t care how we get there just as long as we get to see Sean.

So, now that we are done complaining we would like to get back on track. Look on the bright side; we made it there to see Sean. He was very happy to see us. They already fed him because once again he woke up early from his nap and was crying. He played for about an hour and wanted to be held the rest of the time. The little angel fell asleep in his Papa’s arms. We are not sure if he was whining because he was tired or because he just wants to be held. He loves to cuddle. He is going to be in for a rude awakening when we leave here to go back home for about a month and so will we.

Molly Jane Zahara Olyia Doherty was caught on film smiling. She is full of smiles until you break out the camera and then she has a straight face on. She loves the bling-bling. Mary Ann is going to have to watch her closely. Mary Ann was looking for her watch and found in M. J. Z. O. Doherty’s pants. We all had a really good laugh.

Thanks again to everyone for commenting on our blog and for e-mailing us. We look forward to hearing from everyone. Our only means of communication here ends at 4pm when we go back to our apartment for the evening. So it is like Christmas morning when we receive feedback from everyone. We can’t wait to be back home to see everyone. We especially can’t wait to introduce Sean to you all. We know that you will fall in love. If there is anyone out there that has been considering adoption we can’t even begin to describe how wonderful it has been. We are glad that we have chosen this path.

Sorry to hear he is in for a lifetime of heartache being a Cubby fan. He could surprise you and come home a SOX (World Champs) SOX fan! Well, if he should ever condsider a little bit of an older women(Sox fan) maybe he can meet our Gianna at either park!
God Bless your family
