The end of another week.

DAY 13
Our sweet little angel was sick today. When we went to get him out of the crib he was burning up. They gave him some medicine and a suppository to try and suppress his fever. He took it like champion. He didn’t whine or cry, he just cuddled with his Mama. Finally about an hour and a half later his temperature went down. He guzzled down two bottles of juice and a bottle of formula. They didn’t want to give him any food because of his temperature. We were really surprised that they took off his clothes and left him in only a under shirt and diapers. We are so lucky that we have such a good natured little baby.
Papa thought that he wasn’t feeling well because he was so gassy because boy was he letting them rip today. Not only could everyone in the room hear them, but could also smell them. Papa has never been so proud. Seriously though, we kept checking his diaper because we thought for sure that he had a load. False alarm every time.
While we were trying to bring his fever down Mierjan the “Emperor” came out to play. Molly Jane Zahara Olyia Doherty was already two-timing Sean and right in front of him. She really secretly loves Mierjan. Mierjan is the Baby House favorite. We keep joking that the reason he has not yet been adopted is because the workers won’t allow him to be. He is really sweet.
During our break, we went to a mall and ordered Sean a traditional Kazakh suit. We want to try and have mementos of his homeland and culture. We can’t wait to see it on him. It should be ready in about 4 days. We were thinking that when we have him christened he could wear his Kazakh suit. They wear their suits on important dates such as Kazakhstan holidays, weddings, etc.
We forgot to mention something that we just thought was very interesting. Yesterday when we were at the mall Deb had to go to the bathroom. So we decided to use the bathroom at the mall. There is a lady at a table in front of the restrooms collecting money. Yes, that’s right, you have to pay to use the restroom. It is only 20 tenge. So it is really cheap, but really different. The cultural differences are very interesting. Deb really had to go so they probably could have gotten more than 20 tenge from her.
We forgot to mention that during our first visit with Sean today, he discovered something new. He discovered his feet. They always have their feet covered so when we were changing his clothes he was fascinated with his long wiggly toes. Before we knew it he was sucking on them. Good thing Mama just cleaned them.
