Happy Days!

DAY 30

Oh, Happy Days! It is official! Mary Ann Doherty is officially the mother of little Z. She had her court date this afternoon and then came back to the Baby House to celebrate with cake and tea. We are all so extremely happy for them. We are going to celebrate with Mary Ann and Carmel tonight as they will be homeward bound tomorrow.

Tomorrow is our day and we can’t wait. We have our court date tomorrow at 2:00pm. Then we will also celebrate with the caregivers and doctors. Tomorrow Ruslan will officially be Sean Michael Groh. We are going to study the questions that they will be asking us in court tonight so that we are prepared for tomorrow.

The couple from Texas arrived this morning to see for their first time their daughter Zhenya who they will be renaming Natalie. We have another member in our play group. After we arrive for our visitation every day we feed our babies and then go in play with them in a small room that is probably about 7’x15’. So you really get to know each other. Natalie is a beautiful little baby.

Sean was as always cute as a button. He was full of smiles. He is now starting to give kisses. Today, he put his mouth up to his Mama’s and with an open mouth he started licking her. It was really cute. Now, we just have to teach him to kiss with his mouth closed. He is already trying to put the moves on Natalie. He is quite the ladies man.

Hope all is going well back home and we will be on our way shortly. We can not wait. It is going to be extremely hard to leave Sean for three weeks but we keep telling ourselves that it is just a short time in our lives. The rest of the time we will be able to share our lives together.
