DAY 28

We have some good news and some bad news. Mary Ann got her court date today. She is scheduled to go in on Wednesday at 3:00pm. The bad news is that we did not hear anything yet. The whole system does not make a whole lot of sense to us. We started our bonding period a day ahead of her and she got scheduled for court before we did. We are so glad that she is here because now we can really start to put a little pressure on our agency. Yeah, for Mary Ann & Lil’ Z.

We heard that the Bears spanked the Packers but would have loved to have watched it. We have so many things to be thankful of back home and can’t wait to get there. Being here for five weeks really makes you feel like we live spoiled lives back home. Things that we all take for granted in America don’t even exist here.

Sean was fine in the morning but a little cranky in the afternoon. Molly Jane is now taking the name of Don King. We only had enough energy to take our own kiddies out and Carmel only had the energy to take one. It was very overcast so we hurried back inside. When we put Sean down for his afternoon nap he was not happy. He was crying. Our translator said that it is good that he is crying because that means that he is bonding with us but it doesn’t make it any easier. Most of the babies in the group have a runny nose. We are starting to see many more smiles from the babies. On Wednesday, there is a new couple coming to adopt a little girl in our group. We decided that because we have been taking care of their daughter while they were not here, they will have to return the favor.

We are posting a few more pictures today. They are picture from this week that we were not able to post due to the lack of a working internet system.
