Sunday

DAY 14
It is hard to believe that we have been in Karaganda now for two weeks. We are half way done with out first trip. Tomorrow our bonding period will be over and they will be able to submit our paperwork to the court. We would imagine that we will be hearing when our court date will be in the next couple of days.
We had our morning visit with Sean today. He still had a fever and was given another suppository. The poor little guy and his poor Mama & Papa. It breaks our hearts to watch them give him the suppository. They also rubbed alcohol all over is body. They said that it helps break the fever. After about an hour his fever was down but still there. He took a nice long nap on his Mama. The caregiver is so sweet, and the babies love her. She came and took his temperature four times in the two hours that we were there.
We hope that we will have more to talk about tomorrow but for now that is all. We are just praying that he will be better tomorrow and back to his normal self.

Hi Debbie and Jay! First, congrats on your beautiful baby boy! We are hoping to be united with ours by December. A friend is in Almaty right now and her little one had a fever too...for a few days, until she got the baby out of the orphange. I am sure the caretakers are great, but there is nothing like TLC from momma and papa!
