Its Official!

DAY 31

It is official! We are now the proud parents of Sean Michael Groh. Court went really well. They asked only a few questions from us. They asked us how much we made a year after taxes, if Sean had any developmental or health problems when we got home what we do, they asked if all of our relatives were healthy, they asked about Scott living with us, they asked how we plan to care for him when we get home, and how are family and friends thought about us adopting? We told them that everyone is extremely excited for us and they can’t wait for us to bring him home. Deb pretty much answered all of their questions in our opening statement.

After court we went to the Baby House to celebrate with the caregivers. We had cake and shared with them all of our photos. They loved our gifts. We gave them a watch, bracelet, earrings, and necklace set. We were very happy that they liked the gifts. Many of them even commented on how their watch just got lost or was not working anymore. Deb prepared a sappy speech for them explaining how gracious we were of all the love and care that they have provided for the children. They allowed us to wake Sean up to take our first picture together as the Groh family.

While we were in court we were talking to the Doctor at the Baby House about coming back to get a few more babies. We told the doctor that we fell in love with so many of the babies and the workers. She said that they would hire us to work there because we were so helpful while were there. We are going to miss them. They are wonderful people.

Mary Ann, don’t worry Little Z. came out and played with us. They even let me feed her. They are looking for all the help they can get as they have 12 babies now and are getting 2 more next week. Hope you guys are doing well and we will see you soon. We will take good care of her, and we already gave the instructions to the couple from Texas on how to care for her while we are gone. They are even enjoying her.
